The inherently transient nature of the town's occupants creates an apparent lack of good Information Technology support. In order to
deal with this shortfall and in an attempt to provide both businesses and individual pc users with cheaper, more personal support,
Dragonstar Total Computing was born.
From August 1998 Dragonstar Total Computing has supported schools, small businesses and home users, in Port and South Hedland
until relocating to Geraldton in July 2004.
Karl Edwards was employed by Hedland College from November 1998 until July 2004 in the capacity of Computer Services Officer/Senior
